Apply For Camp Staff

As a PASSPORT staffer, you’ll learn how to teach Bible study, lead on stage, and engage God’s children in new ways. Whether you are looking to deepen your walk with the Lord, prepare yourself for ministry, or just have the summer of a lifetime, PASSPORT camps will leave you forever changed.

Each PASSPORT staffer is required to attend a (paid) 10-day intensive training session. Weekly paychecks typically start at $350/week, and PASSPORT covers all lodging and food expenses (except meals on off days) and all camp-related travel expenses to and from camp. Passport staffers are programmatic leaders and are not housed with campers or responsible for campers outside of programmed activities.

Bible Study Leader

Bible Study Leaders help campers engage the Bible alongside others in fun, creative, and thoughtful ways. Leaders also participate on stage in worship and celebrations, and lead mission projects, afternoon activities and missions education. All sessions are written by ministry professionals and paid-training is provided prior to camp. We are committed to giving college and graduate students a place to lead and grow, whether you are a future teacher, engineer, techie, artist, or minister!

PASSPORT
kids Bible Study Leaders will lead a Bible study each day to a group of 3rd – 6th graders.

PASSPORT Bible Study Leaders will lead a Bible study each day to a group of 6th -12th graders.

Program Assistant

Program Assistants work behind-the-scenes alongside the program staff, learning the ropes and taking responsibilities for specific aspects of camp programming. For the Kids team these responsibilities include: Set up and take down of rotation supplies, parties, staging, Camp Store and Stage Management for Worship and Celebrations. For Youth Team these responsibilities include: set up and take down of camp lunches, mission project supplies, staging, Camp Store, parties and Stage Management for Worship and Celebrations.

Assistant Director

The Assistant Director is responsible for the daily management of the office and the logistics of daily camp life. Communicating with host campuses, overseeing Check-In, and supervising the Bible Study Leaders are just some of the responsibilities for this position.

Mission Project Coordinator (Youth Team Only)

Coordinating the details for multiple groups at different locations requires organizational skills and a mind that enjoys thinking through logistics and details. Mission Project Coordinators communicate with local ministries and agencies to confirm work and ensure that Bible Study Leaders and campers have all the supplies needed to do the job at hand. The job is also about communicating the context of the community need so that students understand why what they are doing as Christians can and does make a difference. Mission Project Coordinators serve exclusively on youth camp teams.

Choices Coordinator (Choices Team Only)

The Choices Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the details for multiple Choice groups and requires organizational skills and thinking through logistics. They oversee the afternoon Choices, supervise staff and prepare supplies for each Choice. The Choices Coordinator manages on-campus Choice groups and off-site mission projects.

Rotations Coordinator (Kids Team Only)

The Rotations Coordinator is responsible for organizing and facilitating Rotations programming during camp, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. Rotations include sports, crafts, worship art, Mission Education, and outdoor activities. The Rotations Coordinator also oversees the Camp Store.

Recreation Coordinator (Kids Team Only)

The Recreation Coordinator is responsible for making camp fun! These talented individuals oversee Free Time Activities and nightly parties. One of the main goals of the PASSPORT program is fun, and these team leaders will guarantee it is accomplished.

Pastor

PASSPORT is looking for a spiritually-grounded storyteller who desires to breathe life into the gospel message for a camp audience. If you are a seminary student or a college-student  interested in pursuing ministry, our Camp Pastor position will offer practical and valuable preaching experience. Pastors have the opportunity to thoughtfully craft 5-6 sermons under the mentorship of our National Office, which will be delivered weekly over the course of the summer. Our Pastors are full members of the camp team and help to administrate other areas of camp life. If your degree program requires an internship/mentorship, previous staffers have loved adding this experience to their resume!

Worship Coordinator

PASSPORT is looking for a worship leader who is energized by creating a sacred space in which students can sing, pray, and worship in new ways. The Passport National Office offers experienced guidance and thoughtful planning, training the Worship Coordinators to guide students and staff in meaningful worship experiences. 

This position is for those who are musically gifted and have a passion for facilitating worship. Worship Coordinators are full members of the camp team and also help to administrate other areas of camp life.

Camp Photographer

Camp Photographers are responsible for documenting and telling the story of what is happening at camp.  For both teams, photographers will take photos/videos and be responsible for uploading and organizing files daily as directed.  Photographers will be trained and guided by the National Office team.
