Summer Staff Frequently Asked Questions
When does the application process begin for next summer?
The Passport application opens on September 1st and will remain open until January 15th. For priority consideration, we encourage all of our applicants to complete the application, references, and interview prior to December 1st.
What does the application process look like?
To begin your application, visit https://passportcamps.org/apply/ to fill out an inquiry form. Upon submission of an inquiry, the Passport National Office will send you an application. The application includes an online form, essay questions, and a Zoom interview.
How old do I have to be to work camp?
Applicants must be 18 years of age and completed high school by June 1st to work Passport Camps.
How long will I be at camp?

Program dates range from May 24 to July 27. Teams will arrive on site and train together for a week before churches arrive.  

 

Priority placement will be given to applicants who can work the full summer. 

Are staffers responsible for campers at night?
The Passport staff team will be housed separately from campers and are not responsible for campers at night.
Do I get paid?
Yes! First year staffers are paid bi-weekly with a salary of $350 per week.
How do I get to camp?
Passport will arrange and pay for your travel to and from camp.
