Adult Expectations

At PASSPORT, we have a team of gifted ministers and advisors who work to create a camp program of thoughtful theology, creative worship, and lots of fun. We will provide everything you need to be a successful leader at camp, but there are a few things we will expect from you and your adults.

  • Participate fully in camp.
Your students will model your behavior.
  • Know where your students are and supervise them accordingly.
Our staff will supervise and hand off your students for Bible Study and Rotations, Choice, or Mission Project times, but you will be responsible for your group during other times.
  • Enforce your dress code and camp rules.
Because every group is different, we ask leaders to enforce these guidelines rather than our staff.
  • Lead Church Group Devotions.
We will provide the details for you late spring, but you get to lead this time! We’ve found that allowing the Group Leaders to do this with their own students allows all of our groups to dive deeper together and for leaders to help guide and answer some of the questions that may come up in a safe space for you and your campers.
  • Please review the Kids and Youth Chaperone Handouts, as they are a valuable resource to help prepare your adults for camp.

Camp Scholarship Program

Did you know Passport offers camp scholarships? The goal of the Camp Scholarship Program is to partner with churches to assist students in their congregation who demonstrate significant financial need and make camp a reality for them. This partnership invites churches to invest in their students by also being willing to cover some of the costs for each scholarship recipient.
