PASSPORTkids! Camp
I am originally from Richmond, VA and graduated from Louisiana Tech this past fall with a degree in English Education. I am currently interning at the Passport national office in Birmingham. My first PASSPORT experience was in 2004 as a camper at the very first PASSPORTkids! camp. I also attended youth camp. This will be my fourth summer as a staffer on the PASSPORTkids! team, plus a bonus camp in Korea. PASSPORT has given me a tangible reminder of God’s presence in my life in every season: as a camper, a student, a staffer, a leader, and a learner. I can’t wait to wake up to energizers (wild and fun dances to get the day started), and I’m excited to share a few days of life with all of the campers and adults at camp this summer!

PASSPORTmissions Camp
I have grown up in Kansas City my whole life and have absolutely loved being a part of this city. I am currently working on my Masters of Divinity at Central Baptist Theological Seminary, also in Kansas City. I am new to the PASSPORT team this year and am very excited about all that God has for this summer! I believe in empowering young people to missions. I am most looking forward to getting to share with the campers through our message time. I have been greatly impacted by camps throughout my life and am so excited to get to give back!

PASSPORTchoices Camp (Sessions 5-6)
A native of Jones, Oklahoma, I attended Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies. After graduating college, I began formal training for ministry at Yale Divinity School. Currently, I’m a Pastoral Resident at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. In 2011, I worked as a pastor on the PASSPORTkids! team. This summer, I’m looking forward to seeing the excitement in campers’ eyes when they come together with one another to share diverse ideas, life experiences, and the gospel with one another. Fun fact: at the wonderful age of 6, I was struck by lightening, but have not yet won a lottery.
