With expansive Texas skies and West Texas charm, Heart of Texas Camp is a totally unique PASSPORTkids location. Groups love the ‘campy’ feel and the beautiful facilities which include lake activities, lush outdoor space, and basketball and volleyball courts. A trip to the camp canteen to grab a snow cone is also a favorite free-time activity.

Camp Lodging: Heart of Texas has air-conditioned cabins. Each cabin has one or two large bunk rooms, where adults and minors from different churches sleep in and share the same space. Each cabin also has one or two common bathrooms, each with multiple sinks, showers, and toilet stalls. In cabins with two large bunk rooms and two large common bathrooms, sometimes females are assigned to one bunk room while males are assigned to the other. Also, because beds vary in size, we recommend sleeping bags. Every person should bring their own bedding, pillow, and towels, and groups should know that they will share a cabin with other church groups.
