Converse University is a private university in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This beautiful, compact campus is easy to navigate and offers lots of green space for running or resting between events.

Housing: Converse has air-conditioned dorm rooms, dorm suites, and apartments. Dorm rooms have two or three beds each and shared hall bathrooms. Dorms suites are comprised of two dorm rooms with a shared bathroom between the two rooms. Apartments vary in size and configuration, with 2-6 bedrooms which sleep either 1 or 2 per room and with 1 or 2 bathrooms per apartment. Everyone should bring Twin XL bedding or a sleeping bag, and note that Converse charges high lost key fees.

With ample amount of classrooms, vast green space, a beautiful art studio and a perfectly-sized auditorium, Converse College is an ideal campus for our PASSPORT program. With everything within a short walk, groups love how easy it is to navigate the campus.

Pool & Sport Facilities
Converse College has an indoor swimming pool, indoor gymnasium with basketball court, sand-volleyball court and tons of beautiful green space to play or hang out!
Things to know:
+ Camp Check-In traditionally begins at 2pm and ends at 5pm
+ Churches depart after Closing Celebration at 11:00 am
+ At all of our youth programs, PASSPORT asks students to participate in a digital sabbath to fully-invest in camp activities and to focus solely on Christ and community.
+ Campus is wheelchair accessible.
