Passport is hiring for an IT Specialist!

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to all staff relating to IT needs and solutions
  • Maintain & improve existing database management systems
  • Maintain & update registration system
  • Update technical aspects of website
  • Mine historical data to provides analysis for the communications team
  • Oversee office & camp technology upgrades
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on desktop and laptop computers
  • Examine and approve technical documentation for internal IT systems
  • Stay up-to-date with technology trends and solutions in computer technology
  • Provide support via phone calls, emails, and chat
  • Administrate summer staff hiring process
  • Carry out other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three years experience in related position
  • Solution-oriented and proactive
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Apple Products & workflow (FileMaker experience a plus)
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and backgrounds
  • Technical knowledge and passion for working with technology
  • Able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Positive attitude

 

Benefits

  • Financial Compensation: $35-45,000; commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Health & Dental Insurance: employee insurance premiums are paid 100% by employer.
  • Holidays: MLK Jr Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,Thanksgiving Day and Friday, and the Christmas & New Year Days detailed below.
  • Vacation: The office is closed the week from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Day, as paid leave. Passport, Inc. offers an additional 10 days of paid vacation chosen by the employee in consultation with the supervisor. After 5 years, the employee receives 15 days of vacation; after 10 years, 20 days.
  • Sick Leave: The employee shall receive one (1) sick day per month with pay. Sick days are cumulative up to 120 days but are not redeemable upon departure from the organization.
  • Maternity/Paternity Leave: Female employees are given 6 weeks of maternity leave following the birth or adoption of a child; males, 4 weeks of paternity leave.
