**Most often our blog talks to the issues of youth & children’s pastors, but Camp Life Friday Posts are written for & to our loyal student audience so please excuse the occasional silliness.
When it comes to the excitement of youth camp, sometimes words just aren’t enough. So what’s it like when driving to PASSPORT? Well, its kind of like this.
You politely put down your summer reading
and finish packing for camp, stuffing every last one of your happy camper shirts in.
Then your parents drive you to meet the rest of your youth group at the church.
And everyone is pretty excited.
Everyone piles in on the bus.
Your youth minister gets out the map & then is like, ‘Ehh, we’ll figure it out.”
But we don’t and totally get lost, but it’s fine because it just makes it an adventure.
Plus everyone is too busy having fun taking pre-camp selfies.
Eventually, you pull over and stop for a fully-balanced parent-approved meal.
After the meal, time seems to be going super slow. WHEN WILL WE BE THERE?
But then….. you see it in ahead. You have arrived at PASSPORT!
