Passport 2017 is now in the books! Our 25th summer of ministry was full of smiles, laughter, learning, worship, growth, and service. We made connections between our actions and our understanding of the prophet Micah’s call to Do Justice, Love Kindness, and Walk Humbly with God.
We have created a downloadable infographic that shows the impact we had together through this summer’s Passport programs. If you joined us for a session of camp or mission trip, we invite you to download this infographic and send it via email to your parents, students, staff, and congregation to show the important partnership shared between your group, Passport, and hundreds of other congregations around the country.
What these statistics don’t reveal are the hundreds of one on one faith-forming conversations that happened; the hugs of joy between children and youth at our partner service agencies; the cultural barriers that were crossed as students from diverse backgrounds studied and worshipped together; the individual decisions students made to take first or next steps along their faith journey; and the growth our summer staffers experienced as they taught and ministered with your students.
The camp offering focused on Passport’s global work through Watering Malawi which advocates for safe drinking water and access to education in this southern African country.
